- Abstract
This study aims to determine the Ende Lio Community Perception on the concept of gender equality and women's empowerment. The research data was obtained through interviews, documentation studies and literature. The sampling technique uses side proportional random. The results of this study showed that 47.2% said they agreed with the concept of gender equality and women's empowerment, but it had not been implemented properly and correctly among the community, 26.1% said they agreed and had implemented it, then 20.0% said that they did not agree and don't understand. 6.7% said that they understood, but they did not agree to be implemented because they were men and they had a primordialism understanding in particular culture.
