- Abstract
This study aims to identify and formulate an effective institutional model to support increasing global competitiveness in the digital era, focusing on three key sectors: management, tourism, and education. These three sectors have strategic contributions to economic growth, social transformation, and a country’s competitive position in an in creasingly digitalized global order. The method used is a qualitative approach with case study techniques and comparative analysis, through the collection of primary and sec ondary data from related institutions in these sectors. The results of the study indicate that an institutional model that is able to increase global competitiveness in the digital era is characterized by three main elements: data and technology-based governance, synergy between institutions across sectors, and policy flexibility in responding to global change. In the management sector, the implementation of digital governance accelerates the decision-making process and operational efficiency. In the tourism sec tor, collaboration between stakeholders with the support of digital platforms encourages global destination promotion. Meanwhile, in the education sector, an institutional model that encourages internationalization, digital learning, and global partnerships has been proven to strengthen the quality and competitiveness of graduates. This study con cludes that strengthening an inclusive, adaptive, and collaborative digital institutional model is a strategic step in responding to the challenges of global competitiveness. The recommendations produced include the establishment of a cross-sector institutional co ordination system, the development of digital human resources, and the integration of national policies based on data and technology.
