Abstract

The Northeast region of China has witnessed significant economic growth and improved farmer incomes following poverty alleviation strategies. This economic shift has increased the demand for medical services. However, disparities in healthcare services between urban and rural areas have led to inefficient use of rural medical resources and an increased burden on urban healthcare systems. This study explores the relationship between key dimensions such as medical personnel training, hospital bed allocation, medical facility construction, and disease control, and rural revitalization. Our findings indicate that enhancing healthcare services and controlling disease prevalence are crucial for promoting rural economic growth and improving per capita income, representing essential factors in rural revitalization strategies. We conclude that improving the rural healthcare system is key to revitalizing the Northeast region comprehensively and enhancing the quality of life for rural populations, thereby facilitating high-quality socioeconomic development.
