- Abstract
This research explores the value of Christian Religious Education through the wisdom of Sundanese society, namely silih asih, silih asuh, and silih asah. The research approach used is exploratory qualitative through data collection techniques, namely observation and documentation. Education is an important mean to preserve and develop the value of local wisdom because it is the basis for developing student character values so as to form the way of behavior and action in everyday life. Sundanese people are often seen as kind, spiritual, polite, humble, high social spirit, and friendly because of the parenting of parents who always instill and uphold the guidelines of life, namely silih asih (loving each other), silih asuh (protecting each other), and silih asah (improving each other). The result of the research is that the value of silih asih, silih asuh, and silih asah supports the formation of character and spirituality for students to grow and develop holistically.
