Abstract

In Indonesia, religion plays an important role in almost all aspects of the lives of all Indonesians, not only in practical life but also in the formation of laws. The relationship between religion and the State is very fundamental, 7intimate and productive, as the third largest democratic country, with a diversity of religions, cultures, tribes, languages, and beliefs, but on the other hand Indonesia is also a country that has a high level of social, regional and economic disparity, Indonesia certainly has noble potential as well as great challenges in its journey to realise the ideals of the nation in accordance with what is stated in the constitution. This research wants to conduct a deeper study of the construction of the relationship between religion and the State by using the perspective of state life, the method used is a qualitative method with a literature review.
