- Abstract
Information technology has ushered humanity into the digital era, enabling connections with people around the world through the internet. As a result, the local church has transformed into a global church. Sermons that were once limited to local congregations are now accessible to all Christians, including non-Christians. Sermons delivered solely within the context of a local church are no longer sufficient to meet the needs of multi-contextual listeners in the digital era. This paper aims to construct a sermon that accommodates these multi-contextual listeners by referring to Jesus’ sermons in the Gospel. The methodology employed is literature research from a multi-contextual theological perspective. I argue that contextual sermons must evolve into multi-contextual sermons to effectively address the needs of these listeners in the digital era.
