Abstract

Motorcycle riders face numerous risks, including as collisions, reckless driving, and inclement weather. The objective of this project is to develop an Intelligence Helmets Technology which will improve their safety and fulfill the legal requirements. Using a Raspberry Pi and sensors, this helmet will include monitoring in real time, detection of crashes, and communications features. The Raspberry Pi, which serves as the primary controller, is at the center of the system. To verify the rider’s identity and that the helmet is being worn, it attaches to a camera module. To detect unexpected shocks or collisions, an ADXL accelerometer is incorporated. To help provide a safe riding environment, a gas sensor measures potentially harmful air contaminants. A GPS module maintains the rider’s current position, while a GSM module sends SMS messages with alarms and location information in case of emergencies. During emergencies, a buzzer alerts gives the rider instant information. An SD card is used to store sensor data. By protecting motor cycle riders and raising industry safety requirements, this cutting-edge design hopes to lower the number of fatalities and injuries caused by accidents. Utilizing a number of essential amenities, including helmet usage verification, accident detection, environmental hazard monitoring, and emergency communication facilitation, this intelligent helmet enhances rider safety.
