- Abstract
This project involves the design of a dual-band microstrip patch antenna for IoT-based patient monitoring. The designed antenna is for operation at 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz so that there is efficient wireless communication to monitor the patients in real-time. A PIN diode is used to enable single-band to dual-band switching for increased flexibility. The proposed system uses sensors to monitor physiological parameters and sends data through wireless protocols to provide timely medical care. S11 parameter analysis, radiation patterns, VSWR analysis, and gain measurement are included in the study to confirm antenna performance.
