The 2nd International Conference on Contemporary Sociology and Educational Transformation was held on August 5, 2025, entirely online at the State University of Malang, Indonesia. This conference provides a platform for academics, researchers, faculty members, students, and colleagues from various universities, both nationally and internationally, to discuss "Reconfiguring Social Context: Navigating Digital Transformation, Tourism, and Education within Science, Technology, and Society." The online event provides an opportunity for participants from various regions to discuss and share their views without being limited by geography.

The purpose of the 2nd ICCSET 2025 is to provide a platform for academics and researchers to critically present and share insights on initial findings and research in the development stage, focusing on issues surrounding digital transformation, tourism, and education within the framework of Science, Technology, and Society. This conference provides an opportunity for participants to develop a cross-disciplinary research foundation to explore the diversity of perspectives in the social sciences. The conference features various subthemes, including: (1) The Role of Social Media in Shaping Public Perceptions of Sciences, Tourism, and Education; (2) Digital Skills Development for the Future Workforce; (3) The Digital Divide: Access, Equity, and Social Justice. (4) Smart Destination and Digital Ecosystems: Collaboration for Sustainable Tourism, (5) Digital Citizenship and Participation, (6) Mental Health, Wellbeing, and Digital Life.

These proceedings demonstrate the academic passion reflected in the participation throughout the conference. The papers presented here reflect the richness of the conference's themes and subthemes, capturing the depth of research and the spirit of expanding the boundaries of existing knowledge. Each paper represents not only a diverse range of studies from various fields but also an attempt to elaborate on increasingly interconnected and interconnected issues.
