Held under the theme “Sustainable Business Transformation: Strategies for a Net-Zero Future,” this conference reaffirms our commitment to fostering scholarly dialogue and advancing interdisciplinary research in the era of sustainability. ICEBAST 2025 brought together academics, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and students to share insights and discuss recent innovations in economics, business, and accounting. More than 200 authors participated, and the conference received 153 paper submissions spanning topics such as sustainable business models, green finance, ethical and digital accounting, ESG integration, digital transformation, Islamic business ethics, and inclusive economic development. Participants represented diverse institutions from Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, and The Gambia, contributing valuable global and regional perspectives. Their active engagement strengthened ICEBAST’s role as a platform that connects theory and practice, and bridges global and local viewpoints toward a sustainable, low-carbon future. We extend sincere appreciation to all authors, presenters, reviewers, session chairs, and committee members for their dedication to the success of ICEBAST 2025. We also thank our international partners and institutional supporters for their continued collaboration. We hope that the research presented in this proceeding will inspire further study and contribute to future innovations in sustainable economic and business transformation.
