Abstract

The efforts to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs) require the participation of stakeholders. The development of conceptual, regulatory, and practical corporate social responsibility (CSR) allows this mechanism to provide benefits to the community and business actors so as to contribute to the achievement of SDGs, including in Kulon Progo county in the province of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The goal of this study is to examine the impact of perceived CSR support on sustainable entrepreneurial intention (SEIN). A total of 373 business owners from MSMEs, cooperatives, and village-owned enterprises were involved as respondents with purposive sampling technique. Validity testing produces outer weight and outer loading values according to the criteria so that fifteen indicators can be declared valid as well as meeting reliability criteria. Inner model testing shows a significant positive effect of perceived of CSR support on SEIN. The perceived of CSR support reflects the assistance for communities and businesses in overcoming problems of economic deprivation, social welfare, cultural preservation, and the environment so as to contribute to boost the inclination among entrepreneurs in sustainable entrepreneurial. The results serve as a suggestion for regional government to increase corporate engagement to stimulate intentional in reducing the sustainability issues.
