Abstract

This research aims to describe the health of school organizations at Junior High Schools (SMP) in Bantul Yogyakarta. This research uses a quantitative survey type approach. The population of this study was all teachers, while the sample was 287 teachers taken using area proportional random sampling techniques. Data was collected using a closed questionnaire that met content validity and reliability. Next, the data was analyzed descriptively and in percentages. The research results show that Junior High Schools in Bantul are healthy school organizations. Most teachers stated that the six dimensions of school organizational health were very healthy, namely the dimensions of institutional integrity, influence of the principal, attention and consideration of the principal, initiation of structure, morals, and academic emphasis. Meanwhile, the dimension of resource support is healthy because schools have not been able to provide e-book facilities for additional learning materials. The suggestion that can be made is that schools prioritize completing learning technology facilities, including e-books, to add learning materials in an effort to increase resource support, but still maintain other dimensions of school health which are already very healthy.
