- Abstract
Mobile learning has significantly transformed education, particularly with the rise of e-books. This research supports a design framework emphasizing context and a collaborative mobile learning system, aiming to enhance the accessibility of e-books as educational tools. By leveraging contextual cues, this framework provides adaptable and user-friendly services. To ensure the framework aligns with user needs, a design thinking approach is employed across five stages: understanding user perspectives, identifying needs and challenges via surveys, generating solutions from these insights, developing prototypes of interactive e-book readers, and conducting guerrilla testing on these prototypes. The successful outcomes from these tests confirm the design model’s effectiveness, suitability, and ease of use for e-book users.
