Abstract

The rapid advancement of the civil and hydraulic engineering sectors urgently necessitates high-level professionals with strong vocational competencies, making the development of practical and vocational capabilities a crucial focus in graduate education for professional degrees in these fields. Currently, the top priority in cultivating professional degree graduate students is to ensure that they acquire the comprehensive professional knowledge and practical skills necessary for solving engineering problems within the sectors, albeit with limited time available for classroom instruction, professional practice, and academic discussions. This paper primarily explores the structuring of disciplinary knowledge and the design of practical teaching systems in civil and hydraulic engineering professional degree programs, aligning with vocational and competency objectives, thus providing valuable insights and references for enhancing the quality of professional degree graduate education in these disciplines.
