Abstract

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, college English translation teaching is undergoing a profound transformation. The limitations of traditional translation teaching methods are evident in terms of personalization and dynamic adjustment, while the application of AI technologies such as big data analytics, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), and adaptive learning systems provides intelligent solutions for translation education. This paper first explores how big data analytics enhances students’ translation skills through personalized learning path design, precise translation ability assessment, and real-time feedback mechanisms. Secondly, it analyzes how VR and AR technologies help students engage in practical training in simulated environments. Finally, it discusses how adaptive learning systems dynamically adjust content difficulty to offer personalized translation education tailored to students’ abilities. The integration of these technologies makes college English translation teaching more flexible and interactive, effectively improving students’ translation skills and cross-cultural communication abilities.
