- Abstract
This study aimed to develop Interactive Intervention Materials (IIMs) on selected topics in Set Theory, evaluated by mathematics experts, experts in the development of interactive materials, and 30 second-year BSE Mathematics major students. Utilizing the ADDIE model of instructional development, the research followed a developmental method to create IIMs that included a preliminary section, review activity, interactive video discussion, interactive activities, and reflections. Conducted at the College of Education, NEUST, the IIMs were designed to address three key competencies: determining the solution set of inequalities, finding the solution set of absolute values, and determining the domain and range of relations/functions. Final evaluations by experts and students yielded consistent ratings of “Completely Satisfied,” with a grand mean of 3.0. These evaluations affirmed the IIMs’ effectiveness in providing an engaging and motivating learning experience, highlighting their relevance, accuracy, practicality, and support for active learning. The study concludes that the IIMs are highly effective educational tools that significantly enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
