- Abstract
This research aims to the role of stakeholders in implementing inclusive education in rural and urban areas of Indonesia, focusing on its contribution to achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study identifies key challenges in rural regions, such as inadequate facilities, untrained educators, and societal stigma, which impede access to inclusive education. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, data were collected through surveys, interviews, and source triangulation from educational institutions in Jakarta, South Tangerang, and Cipanas district. Results reveal significant disparities between urban and rural schools, with rural areas lagging in facilities, teacher training, and accessibility for students with special needs. The study recommends enhancing teacher training, developing adaptive learning materials, and promoting multi-stakeholder collaboration to address these gaps and support inclusive education for sustainable development.
