The rapid advancement of computing technologies is transforming the way we under-stand, solve, and respond to complex challenges across scientific, industrial, and societal domains. Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Intelligent Computing, Cybersecurity, Data Science, and emerging computational paradigms are increasingly becoming integral to research and innovation. Against this backdrop, ICETTACS 2026 provided a platform for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and scholars to exchange ideas and explore emerging directions in computer science and its applications. The conference proceedings bring together selected research contributions address-ing a diverse range of contemporary problems. The volume encompasses research in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare and Biomedical Applications; AI for Agriculture and Plant Disease Detection; Intelligent Systems, Security and Enterprise Applications; and Machine Learning, Recommendation and Forecasting. The contributions demonstrate the increasingly interdisciplinary nature of computer science research. Applications represented in this volume range from medical image analysis, health monitoring, and explainable AI to plant disease detection, cybersecurity, enterprise risk assessment, credit-risk prediction, quantum image processing, recommendation systems, electric vehicle forecasting, and terrorism forecasting. A significant emphasis of ICETTACS 2026 was placed on the quality and integrity of the research presented. The conference received approximately 88 research paper submissions, which underwent a double-blind review process, with each manuscript evaluated by three reviewers. Following this rigorous evaluation, 15 papers were selected for presentation and inclusion in the proceedings. This selective process reflects the commitment of the conference to scholarly quality and research excellence.
The conference also provided opportunities for interaction between academia and industry through keynote and invited lectures by experts working in leading organizations. These interactions helped connect theoretical research with practical technological challenges and provided participants with valuable perspectives on the evolving requirements of the technology landscape. I am confident that these proceedings will serve as a valuable reference for researchers, academicians, practitioners, research scholars, and students, and will stimulate further research, collaboration, and innovation in computer science and its interdisciplinary applications. ICETTACS 2026 was conceived as a forum for bringing together researchers, academicians, industry professionals, research scholars, and students to share contemporary research findings, exchange ideas, and explore emerging directions in computer science and its applications. The conference sought to encourage meaningful interaction between theoretical research and practical technological applications, while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. The proceedings present selected research contributions organized across four broad thematic areas. The first section, Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare & Biomedical Applications, brings together research addressing healthcare and biomedical challenges through artificial intelligence, deep learning, computer vision, explainable AI, and intelligent systems. The second section, AI for Agriculture & Plant Disease Detection, highlights the application of artificial intelligence and deep learning techniques to agricultural challenges, particularly automated plant disease identification and classification. The third section, Intelligent Systems, Security & Enterprise Applications, focuses on intelligent and secure computing solutions, including cybersecurity, enterprise risk assessment, credit-risk prediction, and emerging computational approaches. The fourth section, Machine Learning, Recommendation & Forecasting, presents research exploring machine learning and data-driven techniques for recommendation systems, forecasting, and other predictive applications. Together, these contributions demonstrate the broad and interdisciplinary role of computer science in addressing contemporary challenges across healthcare, agriculture, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, finance, transportation, and societal applications. Academic quality and research integrity were central to the conference. ICETTACS 2026 received approximately 88 research paper submissions. The submitted manuscripts underwent a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, with each paper evaluated by three reviewers. Following this evaluation, 15 papers were selected for presentation and inclusion in the proceedings. This rigorous selection process reflects the commitment of the conference to maintaining high standards of scholarly research. The conference also provided an important platform for interaction between academia and industry through keynote and invited lectures delivered by distinguished professionals from leading international organizations. Their perspectives on contemporary technological developments enriched the academic discussions and offered participants valuable insights into the practical applications and future directions of emerging technologies. The preparation of this volume has been a collective endeavour.
