- Abstract
Under the background of digitalization, the inherent model of the retail industry has been subjected to a huge impact, and the old giants of the retail industry such as Yonghui Supermarket have appeared unable to adapt to the digital transformation. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the dilemmas and original advantages faced by Yonghui as well as the external environment through SWOT analysis, so as to provide some reference suggestions for retailers in the retail industry who are also facing the same dilemmas. This paper argues that Yonghui should differentiate the positioning of its offline stores in order to improve the efficiency of store utilization and the delivery of online orders. Yonghui should also focus on staff training to provide customers with attentive service. In addition, Yonghui needs to increase its activity on the Internet and continue to expand the functions of the Yonghui Life APP to provide customers with more high-quality benefits and a more efficient product experience.
