- Abstract
This paper thoroughly examines the innovation of green finance and its current development status. First, it introduces the concept and characteristics of green finance, highlighting its crucial role in promoting sustainable development and environmental protection. The article then analyzes the primary avenues for innovation in green finance, including green credit, and illustrates the practical applications and impacts of these innovations through specific case studies. Subsequently, the article delves into the challenges faced by green finance during its development, such as inadequate policy support, an imperfect market mechanism, and insufficient information disclosure, all of which hinder the further advancement of green finance. Finally, the article acknowledges the limitations of this study and emphasizes the areas that future research should prioritize. Overall, this paper offers a comprehensive analysis of the innovation pathways and development status of green finance, serving as a valuable reference for addressing current challenges and fostering the continued growth of green finance.
