Abstract

Recent years witnessed an obvious trend that the influence of sports increases gradually. Especially, The World Cup has captured the attention of people all over the world and has brought untold wealth to this country. However, the traditional sports business model is limited, so this paper research that challenges and development of sports event business models under morden society, and these models have gradually fallen behind the new era, unable to bring better profits to the club and difficult to satisfy the audience. Moreover, this article includes the impact of social media, business model change analysis and revelations and developments. This paper finds that multimedia will play an important role in the business of sports. The sports business model will evolve towards a commodity economy and become diversified and integrated with the culture of the city. These findings and characteristics will help transform sports business models and drive steady growth in the sports business economy.
