- Abstract
As the global climate change and environmental problems become more serious day by day, Green Financial is becoming an important tool for the promotion of sustainability. This paper aims at the analysis of the status quo of Chinese commercial banks in order to identify their challenges and put forward the best strategies. This paper makes an analysis on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks of developing Green Credit Service by SWOT. At the same time, this paper evaluates the development of green credit by collecting and analyzing some new data, for example, green loan balance, yearly growth ratio and green loan ratio. Finally, this paper draws the conclusion that people should make more investment, strengthen the professional knowledge of green credit, and build up a related system in accordance with national industrial planning and environmental policy. This paper hopes that Green Credit Service will be able to achieve a more balanced development based on policy and market demand.
