- Abstract
This study analyzes tourism attention in Southwest China using Baidu Index data, focusing on seasonal fluctuations and holiday behavior patterns. Applying seasonal concentration, Herfindahl, and primacy indices, we find that: (1) seasonal variations in attention have significantly weakened, reflecting market rationalization; (2) holiday search behaviors show distinct patterns, indicating systematic planning differences; (3) spatial distribution remains relatively stable with moderate concentration. These findings offer practical insights for market segmentation, targeted marketing, and visitor flow management during peak seasons.
