- Abstract
Since the launch of the Double High-Level Program over the past three years, engineering colleges and universities have further improved their professional education. However, Advanced Mathematics, a crucial foundational course for engineering institutions, has increasingly been marginalized. This paper discusses the common problems of Advanced Mathematics courses in engineering vocational colleges from the perspectives of schools, teachers, and students, analyzes the root causes of these issues, and proposes multiple solutions, including updating teachers’ teaching concepts, transforming teaching models, and emphasizing team building. It aims to provide references for improving the teaching quality and curriculum development of Advanced Mathematics courses in engineering colleges.
