- Abstract
In the contemporary era of an information explosion, adolescents’ well-being is influenced by many factors and interventions. The objective of this study is to examine the factors that influence adolescents’ well-being and the interventions that have been implemented, with a view to providing a reference point for future empirical studies that are more widely applicable. The ten papers ultimately included in this study were generally well balanced in terms of year of publication, location, and age of the subjects, although the sample sizes of the studies were not equal. With regard to the influencing factors, the majority of the included studies addressed two dimensions in an integrated manner. However, one study analyzed a combination of psychological, physical, and social factors. The findings concerning intervention modalities indicate that by integrating school-based interventions with Internet-based resources, a more comprehensive mental health support system can be developed.
