Abstract

In this study, the weighted scoring method was used to comprehensively evaluate the urban-rural integration development level of Qinghai Province at different time nodes. Additionally, the gravitational model was applied to visually describe the spatial correlation network characteristics of tourism development, while the grey correlation model was employed to measure the main factors affecting regional tourism and urban-rural integration. The results show that: (1) The level of urban-rural integration in Qinghai Province has fluctuated and increased as a whole, and its development trend has moved from a high-speed development stage to a steady rising stage. (2) The spatial pattern of tourism in Qinghai Province has obvious differences, forming a highly correlated area in the eastern part of the Xining-Haidong metropolitan area. (3) The integrated development of urban and rural areas has provided market, capital, talent and other elements for the tourism industry, and accelerated the development of the tourism industry in some regions of Qinghai Province. At the same time, the development of the tourism industry has provided impetus for the integration of urban and rural areas.
