Abstract

Based on the concept of collaborative education between family, school and community, this study constructed the “three-dimensional and four-dimensional” curriculum system of life education in higher vocational colleges, and used empirical research methods to test its implementation effect. The curriculum system comprehensively considers the width, length and height of life in the goal setting. In the curriculum setting, it includes four types of moral, health, devotion to learning and practice, which correspond to the moral, intellectual, physical and labor education of students. The one-year follow-up study found that after the implementation of the new curriculum, the performance of students in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group in terms of life cognition, professional quality, learning development, and practical innovation, demonstrating the effectiveness of the curriculum reform. The study also found that the family, school and community cooperated and formed synergy, which helped to create a supportive education environment. This study enriched the connotation and practice of life education, provided theoretical and practical reference for the training of new people in higher vocational colleges, and highlighted the important value of life education in implementing the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people.
