- Abstract
This study investigates the regional collaborative effects of the digital economy on innovation in higher education teaching in China, based on statistical data from 2012 to 2022. By analyzing factors such as education level, transportation conditions, and technological progress, the study explores the spillover effects of the digital economy on higher education teaching innovation. The results show that the digital economy significantly promotes educational innovation in universities, and that such innovation exhibits clear spatial dependence. Based on these findings, the paper proposes three policy recommendations to support the coordinated development of the digital economy and higher education. This research provides a theoretical foundation for advancing educational innovation and assessing the effectiveness of digital economy policies, offering important practical implications.
