Abstract

The emergence of Financial Technology (FinTech) is driving important deviations in Human Resource Management (HRM), pushing organizations to adopt technology-enabled approaches in place of conventional practices. This research study observes the challenges and opportunities brought by FinTech, such as digital workforce integration, talent agility, ethical concerns, and evolving employee experiences. To address these transformations, the paper introduces the HRM–FinTech Transformation Model, which illustrates how technological enablers such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and data analytics influence core HR functions, including recruitment, learning, performance management, and engagement. The model also emphasizes how employee flexibility and ethical governance have a moderating role in ensuring responsible and sustainable adoption. The study provides a conceptual framework that enhances HRM research and provides businesses with strategic guidance to leverage FinTech advances for improved efficiency, inclusivity, and long-term competitiveness by fusing theoretical viewpoints with practical insights.
