The main focus of this paper is based on the importance of Indian philosophy and its impact on western writers. Western philosophers have strong belief and find salvation in Indian Beliefs. This article covers the works of Emerson, W.B.Yeats, T.S.Eliot, Henry David Thoreau, Huxley, and Hermon Hesse based on Indian Philosophy. Indian philosophy has a significant influence on Emerson, especially the Over soul concept, which is consistent with Indian thought’s notion of a universal spirit. The Bhagavad Gita and Indian philosophical concepts of nature, simplicity, and independence served as inspiration for Thoreau. Huxley emphasized the mystical elements of several ideologies, such as Vedanta perennial philosophy, while examining the similarities between Indian spiritual thought and other religious traditions.
