Abstract

The global unemployment crisis persists despite advancements in education and economic policies. This study explores how integrating IKS into contemporary education can bridge this gap and enhance workforce capabilities. The Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodology measures the transfer of knowledge via the education and cultural practice in the economy via education, employment models and policy framework, for relevant education transfer for the promotion of sustainable livelihood and robust income generation. The research anticipates that a revival of Indian ethos by bringing them back into play in life and work is quite consonant with India’s long heritage, despite gross aberrations from it in modern industrial organizations. “Along enterprises ancient India possessed a number of other forms of puga, vrata, samgha, nigama, and sreni.” (Khanna, Vikramaditya S., op.cit.p.6)(Indian Models) The most common engaging in business or collective activity, including the gana, pani economic entity in those days was sreni, containing features similar to the modern corporate form of organization. Indian system permitted government involvement in business A case is made in favour of the view that ‘evolvement’ of management styles and systems, which are best suited to our requirement, as ‘foisting styles which are alien to the existing way of life and thereby implicitly imposing foreign values and norms of behaviour is bound to create discord.”[5].
