Website: https://icipai.in/ It is our great pleasure to present the proceedings of the International Conference on Innovation and Practices in Artificial Intelligence (ICIPAI 2026), held on 15–16 May 2026 at Quantum University, Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India, in association with The Institution of Engineers (India). The conference was organized by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and the Department of Computer Applications, Quantum School of Technology, Quantum University. Artificial Intelligence has emerged as one of the most transformative technologies of the twenty-first century, revolutionizing research, industry, healthcare, education, manufacturing, agriculture, finance, and governance. ICIPAI 2026 was conceived as an international forum to bring together researchers, academicians, industry professionals, practitioners, and students to exchange ideas, present cutting-edge research, discuss emerging technologies, and foster interdisciplinary collaborations in the rapidly evolving domain of Artificial Intelligence. The conference received an encouraging response from researchers across India and abroad. Submitted manuscripts covered a broad spectrum of topics including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Robotics and Automation, Internet of Things, Signal and Image Processing, Quantum Computing, AI in Healthcare, Renewable Energy, Embedded Systems, Smart Manufacturing, AI Ethics, Explainable AI, Cybersecurity, Sustainable Development, and applications of AI in engineering, management, and the Indian Knowledge Systems. All submitted manuscripts underwent a rigorous peer-review process conducted by subject experts and members of the Technical Committee. Each paper was evaluated for originality, technical quality, significance, relevance to the conference themes, and clarity of presentation. Based on the recommendations of the reviewers and the editorial committee, high-quality papers were selected for presentation and inclusion in these proceedings. The success of ICIPAI 2026 is the result of the collective efforts of many individuals and organizations. We express our sincere gratitude to the Chief Patrons, Patrons, Conference Chair, Program Chairs, Advisory Committee, Editorial Board, Technical Committee, Organizing Committee, reviewers, session chairs, keynote speakers, authors, delegates, student volunteers, and all members of the organizing team for their invaluable support and commitment.
