- Abstract
Choral art, originating from the West, has evolved over a century in China, developing into a distinctive artistic form known as Chinese choral music in the new era. It has made remarkable contributions in areas such as choral composition, conducting philosophy, and achievements in choral competitions. Prior to this, comprehensive studies on Chinese choral music in the new era have been scarce. This paper systematically examines the development of Chinese choral art from three perspectives, offering a concise retrospective of its illustrious journey.
