- Abstract
In the face of growing social pressures and psychological issues, art therapy gradually attracts attentions due to its soft way to release emotion. Jewellery is worn on the body and the emotion of the jewellery is instinctively triggered as it has therapeutic effect. However, most of the previous researches on emotional jewellery design concentrate on expression and aesthetics rather than therapeutic function. This study integrates art therapy and emotional jewellery design methods through literature review, case study and design practice way, by exploring multi-sensory interaction and emotional resonance, this study attempts to establish an initial design frame work to facilitate the practical application of emotional jewellery.
