- Abstract
The Minahasa area, North Sulawesi, is the largest area with the remains of a megalithic culture. Archaeological research conducted in the Tomohon area, Minahasa, precisely at the Lansot Site, shows a fairly large and diverse distribution of megalithic cultural remains from the results of surveys and excavations at the site. The study results have assumed that burial activities are at the site. In order to produce a broader and complete picture of other residential activities that may occur at the Lansot site, an analysis of the collection of artifacts found at this site is carried out, especially on the findings of pottery made of clay (pottery) and porcelain (ceramics). This study aims to provide a complete picture of the settlements in the Lansot Site in particular and the Minahasa area in general.
