- Abstract
Innovative teaching methods are a key driver in optimizing talent development. Under the Guidelines for College English Teaching issued by the Ministry of Education, this course integrates digital media and artificial intelligence technologies, emphasizing student engagement, and language acquisition, with a key focus on developing students’ productive competencies. The course prioritizes personalized expression, fosters peer assistance and interdependence. Leveraging the advantages of Teacher-Student Collaborative Assessment, it creatively addresses challenges such as Chinese university students’ lack of writing confidence, the disconnection between classroom instruction and real-world English application, insufficient writing feedback as well as the imbalance between the form of a literary work and its moral-philosophical principle. With the assistance of the POA theory, students have strengthened their autonomous learning competence and established a correct ideological value system.
