- Abstract
With the increasing prominence of the aging population, it is of great significance to explore effective means to delay the sense of aging of the elderly and promote their longevity. Based on this, this study aims to explore the basic situation of physical activities and the impact of physical activities on the sense of aging of the elderly in China. Through a questionnaire survey of 554 elderly people aged 60 and above in Chengdu, the sense of aging of the elderly of different ages, genders, original occupations, and education was analyzed, and the impact of physical activities on the sense of aging scores was studied. The results showed that there were significant differences in the sense of aging scores of the elderly, and physical activities could significantly reduce the sense of aging scores. The greater the weekly exercise volume, the more obvious the effect. As a positive lifestyle, physical activities have a significant effect on alleviating the sense of aging of the elderly. The elderly should be encouraged to participate in physical activities appropriately according to their own conditions to promote their physical and mental health and quality of life.
