Abstract

An anti-aging traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) compound emulsion was prepared using Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix as the main ingredient. Human trials showed significant improvements: 76% increased stratum corneum water content, 42% reduced transepidermal water loss (TEWL), 15% lower F4 value, and 17% higher R2 value after 60 days (P < 0.05). The emulsion demonstrated safe skin compatibility.
