- Abstract
This study aims to explore the relationship between life motivation and quality of life among the long-lived population in Chengdu, China. By searching Chinese academic databases, government statistical materials, and social media information, the paper categorizes types of life motivation, assesses the current quality of life, and identifies its influencing factors. The life motivation of Chengdu’s long-lived population mainly focuses on health maintenance, family harmony, and social participation. The quality of life is influenced by economic level, medical security, and social support. A systematic literature review based on online data compensates for the lack of extensive empirical data. This study provides a new perspective for understanding the psychological and behavioral characteristics of the elderly and suggests targeted improvements for their quality of life. Future research can validate these network analysis results with empirical data to deepen understanding of longevity phenomena.
