- Abstract
The objective of this research is to develop field functions in Microsoft Excel by utilising pertinent field equations. In the context of terrain analysis, these equations frequently entail intricate calculations and demand a profound comprehension of the variables that exert influence upon them. The creation of terrain functions in Excel provides an accessible and efficient tool for simulating terrain, which can be used for both educational and research purposes. The utilisation of Excel as a simulation platform is anticipated to assist users, particularly students and researchers, in comprehending terrain behaviour with greater depth, obviating the necessity to master sophisticated simulation software that is typically more intricate. Moreover, this approach enables the visualisation of calculation outcomes in the format of graphs and tables, thus elucidating the effects and interrelationships between field parameters in an interactive and real-time manner.
