- Abstract
This study assesses the tourism competitiveness of six central districts in City A, China, using a multi-dimensional framework based on Porter’s Diamond Theory. It examines environmental, infrastructural, and artificial (policy/management) dimensions through structured surveys of domestic and international tourists, analyzed via ANOVA and demographic comparisons. Results show uniformly high perceived competitiveness across districts, with no significant differences by age, gender, nationality, or visit frequency. Tourists valued all dimensions equally, indicating a balanced, resilient tourism system. The study offers an empirical model for localized competitiveness assessment and provides strategic insights for regional integration, urban tourism planning, and sustainable governance.
