Abstract

This article explores the cultivation strategies for medical and health management (MHM) talents in the context of the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology. It first provides an overview of the application of AI technology in the medical and health field and the opportunities and challenges it brings. Then, it analyzes the current situation and existing problems in the cultivation of MHM talents, mainly including the lack of practical education, the absence of innovation ability cultivation, insufficient career planning and employment guidance, and the incompleteness of assessment methods. Based on this, the article proposes targeted cultivation strategies from the micro, meso, and macro perspectives, including enhancing theoretical foundation and innovative thinking for personal improvement, establishing a functional system for assessment and employment organizations, and formulating a strategic framework for a “diversified, specialized, and internationalized” multi-cooperative education subject group. The functional system for assessment and employment organizations helps cultivate students’ innovative thinking, cross-disciplinary knowledge application ability, and teamwork spirit. The precise guidance strategy through tripartite cooperation can provide students with comprehensive employment guidance and help them smoothly enter the workplace. The multi-cooperative education subject group, through cooperation between the government and private enterprises, jointly invests in the construction of practical bases and updates educational facilities, which is conducive to providing students with more practical opportunities and improving the quality of talent cultivation. The cultivation of MHM talents is a long-term and systematic project that requires the joint efforts of the government, enterprises, schools, and all sectors of society. In future work, we should continue to pay attention to the development trends of AI technology in the medical and health field, continuously improve the MHM talent cultivation system, and provide solid talent support for the sustainable development of China’s medical and health industry. On this basis, this article hopes to provide useful references for research and practice in related fields and jointly promote the progress of MHM talent cultivation in China.
