Abstract

This paper focuses on the suitability evaluation of “production-living-ecological” space in key ecological function areas at the county level. Based on a review of domestic and international research progress and integrating the theory of regional land resource and environmental carrying capacity, a spatial suitability evaluation index system covering three dimensions—production, living, and ecological spaces—has been constructed. Production space emphasizes natural climate, plot conditions, and development convenience; living space focuses on natural and socioeconomic factors, particularly public services and transportation accessibility; while ecological space is characterized from the perspectives of ecosystem services and sensitivity. The study employs the entropy weight method to determine indicator weights, enhancing the objectivity and scientific rigor of the evaluation, aiming to identify the suitability of different functional spaces within the county and their potential conflicts. This system can provide technical support for territorial spatial planning and ecological protection and restoration, promoting the formation of a sustainable spatial pattern at the county level.
