- Abstract
Service quality and operational correctness are of the utmost importance in the banking business, making employee performance an essential component of organizational efficiency. Employee performance at PT BPR X is going to be studied to see how self-monitoring, autonomy, and involvement in the job affect it. A standardized questionnaire was utilized to objectively gather data from 97 employees, using a census sample technique. The data was evaluated using PLS-SEM, which stands for partial least squares structural equation modeling, and SmartPLS 4. According to the findings, self-monitoring, autonomy, and job engagement significantly impact job performance for the better. The most significant predictor is self-monitoring. The structural model has a high predictive value as it accounts for 61.0% of the variation in work performance. The self-determination idea is supported by these statistics. Job performance is enhanced when employees are given more autonomy, are actively involved in their work, and are able to change their behavior as needed. Bank management should take note of these results. Human resource initiatives aimed at boosting productivity in the workplace and the bottom line can benefit from their input. Using a standardized questionnaire and PLS-SEM analysis, 97 workers’ data was analyzed in this study.
