Following the organization of ICOBES 2025 as the inaugural conference, ICOBES 2026 continues this commitment as an annual international academic forum that brings together academics, researchers, practitioners, students, and policymakers to exchange knowledge, present research findings, and discuss emerging issues in business, economics, and social sustainability. The organization of ICOBES 2026 was motivated by the increasingly dynamic global environment, particularly the growing influence of digital transformation on business, economic systems, and society. The digital economy continues to reshape how organizations operate, economies development, and interaction of communities, while creating both opportunities and challenges for sustainability, inclusivity, and resilience. These developments require continuous academic engagement, interdisciplinary perspectives, and collaboration among various stakeholders to understand ongoing changes and formulate innovative and sustainable responses. Carrying the theme “Navigating the Future: Continuity, Convergence, and Concentricity in The Digital Economy,” ICOBES 2026 emphasizes the importance of understanding the future of the digital economy through interconnected perspectives. The theme highlights the importance of navigating technological and economic transformation while considering sustainability, encouraging convergence across disciplines and sectors, and strengthening the interconnectedness of business, economic, and social dimensions. Through this theme, the conference provided a platform for exploring various challenges and opportunities in the development of a sustainable and inclusive digital economy. ICOBES 2026 was held on July 21, 2026, in a hybrid format, with onsite activities taking place at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and virtual participation through online platforms. This hybrid format enabled broader participation from diverse academic and professional communities and facilitated knowledge exchange across geographical boundaries. The conference encouraged participants to engage in academic dialogue, share research findings and insights, strengthen international collaboration, and discuss innovative solutions to contemporary global challenges. Through this volume of proceedings, ICOBES 2026 is expected to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and professional practice in business, economics, and social sustainability, particularly in the context of the evolving digital economy. Building upon the foundation established by ICOBES 2025, The 2nd International Conference on Business, Economic, and Social Sustainability (ICOBES 2026) further strengthens the commitment of the Master of Management Program, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa, to fostering academic collaboration, knowledge development, innovation, and sustainable solutions.
