- Abstract
This study aims to analyze the impact of emotional intelligence on employee job satisfaction in a retail company in Bandung. The research employs a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, collecting data through questionnaires and analyzing it using simple linear regression. The findings indicate that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The regression analysis reveals that an increase in employees’ emotional intelligence contributes to higher job satisfaction levels. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 76.4% suggests that emotional intelligence accounts for the majority of variability in job satisfaction, while the remaining 23.6% is influenced by other factors. Based on these findings, companies are advised to implement emotional intelligence training programs to enhance employee satisfaction and overall performance.
