Abstract

The digital revolution has changed supply chains all across the world, therefore companies need to be flexible and strong to stay ahead of the competition. AI, blockchain, big data analytics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and digital twins have all changed how supply chains are designed, how decisions are made, and how performance is improved. This article examines the ways in which AI and digital transformation enhance supply chain agility, responsiveness, and resilience under unpredictable circumstances. Current frameworks, peer-reviewed studies, and industry reports from 2015–2025 influence the study. AI-driven predictive analytics improves demand forecasting and inventory optimization, digital twins enable real-time visibility and proactive maintenance, blockchain technologies increase transparency and trust, and big data platforms enable value network-wide data-driven collaboration. AIoT and cyber-physical systems are convergent to create self-learning, adaptive, and autonomous supply chains, the report states. The research addresses digital transformation’s strategic issues such data interoperability, cybersecurity, technological integration gaps, and ethics. A conceptual framework explains how emerging technologies synergistically allow agile and resilient supply chains. Future research on generative AI for logistics optimization, human–AI decision-making, and sustainability-oriented digital innovations to increase digital supply chain competitiveness concludes the paper. This paper shows how AI-enabled digital transformation is a strategic step toward intelligent, flexible, and future-ready supply chains using theoretical and practical insights.
