Website: https://icosiet.fatek.untad.ac.id/about/ It is with great pleasure that we present the proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Science in Engineering and Technology (3rd ICOSIET 2024), held in Palu, Indonesia, from 24 to 25 October 2024. Centered around the theme “Green Engineering for a Smart and Sustainable Future,” this conference served as a vibrant platform for engineers, researchers, academics, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, share advancements, and explore solutions to the pressing challenges facing the engineering world today. ICOSIET continues to play a significant role in promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and advancing innovative research across a wide array of engineering fields. This year, the conference received 111 submissions, of which 46 papers were selected after a thorough peer-review process, ensuring the inclusion of high-quality, relevant, and impactful work. The accepted papers reflect the diversity of approaches and topics that are driving progress toward sustainable and intelligent engineering practices. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all authors for their valuable contributions and to the reviewers for their critical insights and commitment to maintaining academic rigor. We also express our sincere appreciation to the keynote speakers, session chairs, and the entire organizing committee for their dedication and hard work in making this event possible. We hope these proceedings provide a lasting contribution to the global engineering community and inspire continued research, collaboration, and innovation in the pursuit of a smarter and more sustainable future.
