- Abstract
As an important form of aesthetic education, music education is of great significance for cultivating students’ aesthetic sentiment and emotional expression. As the heritage place of Chinese culture, mainland China and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan have attracted much attention in the differences and commonalities of their compulsory education music textbooks. Therefore, by comparing and analyzing the compulsory education music textbooks and music curriculum standards between Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, we discuss their difference of content settings, teaching forms and educational goals. In order to explore the teaching objectives of music education in Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and the training methods of students from various places, this article will carry out comparative research on music theory, singing, instrumental music teaching, and non-skilled music culture teaching in different music textbooks.
