Abstract

Keben is a place for fruit or Hindu worship facilities; besides that, keben can also be used to store goods or worship tools. The primary material used to make keben is bamboo. Kayubihi Village is one of the villages in Bangli District, Bangli, Bali, known for its keben. One of the keben handicraft businesses in Kayubihi Village is a handicraft business named “Keben Bali Grosir” founded by Ms. Ni Komang Nopi Karuniasari, whose address is at Jalan Kediri, Br. Pucangan, Kayubihi Village, Kec. Bangli, Kab. Bangli. This dulang handicraft business was established in 2020, producing keben, flower bags, and bamboo kepe/bokor made from bamboo. The problems faced by “Keben Bali Grosir” craft partners include the difficulty of finding raw materials, a lack of understanding of Occupational, Health, and Safety (K3) aspects, a lack of understanding of online transactions and businesses, limited production process support tools, and the inability to keep business records/bookkeeping. The service team from Politeknik Negeri Bali, which has the qualifications to answer the problems faced by activity partners, has planned to provide information and training on determining market prices, providing K3 training, providing information and training on business competition training, electronic transactions, and consumer protection, providing business bookkeeping training, and assisting with tools to support the production process.
